BEC Motorsports PAST ACHIEVEMENTS

1. Team AUTOROCKERZ representing in SAEINDIA SUPRA 2011 & Team ANVESHAN representing in SAEINDIA BAJA 2012

2. In SUPRA 2011,Team AUTOROCKERZ comprising of 25 budding engineers from Automobile Engineering under the guidance of our HOD Prof. S. S. Hiremath represented in the first edition of SAEINDIA SUPRA 2011 held at Madras Motor Sports Club, Chennai. Students from 44 various engineering colleges across India (including the various IIT’s & NIT’s) participated in the event in which they designed & fabricated a formula one race car prototype & competed in various events. Team AUTOROCKERZ strived hard & won THE BEST FUEL ECONOMY AWARD of Rs. 1 lac & a Trophy.

3. In BAJA 2012, Team ANVESHAN comprising of 25 undergraduate engineers from various disciplines (like Automobile, Mechanical, Industrial Production, Electrical & Electronics) once again under the guidance of our HOD Prof. S. S. Hiremath successfully represented in the fifth edition of SAEINDIA BAJA 2012 held at NATRIP Facility, Pithampur, Indore. Thousands of students from hundred engineering colleges (including various IIT’s & NIT’s) participated in the four day competition comprising of Static, Dynamic & Endurance Events. Teams designed, fabricated & ran an Off-road All Terrain Vehicle. With shear team effort, Team ANVESHAN stood fifth in the endurance race & bagged the overall 3rd Prize of Rs. 1 lac & a Trophy. In the SAEINDIA BAJA’s history, ANVESHAN claims to be the only team in the top three ranks among all the teams participated from Karnataka State ever.

4. In SUPRA 2012, Following the footsteps left by our seniors, AUTOROCKERZ, a completely raw team, with students belonging to Automobile & Mechanical Department registered for the 2012 edition of the event. By hard work put in by the team, it successfully cleared the Virtual Round & Participated in the main event to be held at the BUDDHA INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT, Greater Noida.

5.In EFFICYCLE 2013, A Team of 10 students from Automobile & Mechanical had registered for EFFICYCLE 2013 edition& had cleared virtual round held Dayanand Sagar college Banglore. Going on with fabrication Team participated in main event at Chandigarh & had won Best slogan Award.

6. In NKRC 2015, Team Anveshan secured 1st place in Endurance and Overall 3rd place in Event held at RPM Race Circuit, Bhopal.
