Swamy Vivekananda Polytechnic

Swamy Vivekananda polytechnic, recognized by AICTE ,NEW DELHI, affiliated to SBTET ,was established in 2008 under the management of Sri Vinayaka Educational and Charitable Trust with Mr. Tumaula Bhaskar Rao as CHAIRMAN to spread quality technical education to the students in the rural areas, with five courses viz, DCE,DECE,DEEE,DME.AND DCME with an intake of 300 . Ours is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified institution committed to follow ISO standards.

Getting successful admissions every year,now Swamy Vivekananda Polytechnic proudly completed 5 years . Our college premises were built in 6 Acres. Three traditional blocks , facilitated with adequate Labs and Class Rooms.

We have fully equipped labs wopkshops ,seminar halls and drawing halls suitable to satisfy all the requirements of c-09 curriculum of SBTET. We feel proud to announce that our institute has the best equipped labs and in addition to that we have two digital class rooms
with the syllabus of c-09 to provide the students to make them fit for industrial training and to fit for industries after completion of their study .

The computing facilities are made available withFull-fledged camp networking and also we are planning to provide 40 MBPS Broad Band with Wi- Fy campus. And our library continued to grow in term of its Resources, facilities and services. Library has been well established with 4000 volumes, and 250 Refrences and 15 journals and also provided with internet facility for the benefit of the students.

Sufficient and well experienced staff members were recruited well in the beginning of the academic year to accommodate the needs and requirements of all branches. Now the strength of Faculty has grown upto 30.

STUDENTS CHAPTER

As per C-09 curriculum, the Govt. has introduced industrial training for 6 months. During 5th and 6th semesters for all branches of students so as to enable them for the use of industry on the basis of institution-industry relation.

Accordingly training placements were arranged for the students of this institution in various industries, viz. during the year 2012-13.Total 426 students are placed both in 5th and 6th semesters in various industries

Since the inception of this institution, scholarships have been granted by the Govt. in this context, in 2012-13, 328 scholarships were sanctioned. In this year 2013-14, Renewal and Fresh students applied.


PLACEMENTS

Swamy Vivekananda Polytechnic is unique in providing on /off campus drives and stood FIRST in North Andhra especially in MAHINDRA SATYAM, MAHINDRA TECH, INFO TECH Etc., Nearly around 400 students are placed in various companies. For this we have to appreciate our beloved Correspondent, Sri K. Rajendra Prasad Rao for his effort in providing employability to our students

EMPLOYABILITY OF STUDENTS

With view to improve the employability of our students in this competitive environment we have initiated a certified courses in AUTOCAD, Pro – E, CATIA have been commenced during this year with the Co-Ordination of GRS IT Solutions, Chennai.

Upto now Three Batches were relieved from our college.

We are extending facilities for the students to participate in extracurricular events .In cricket our students participated in Eenadu Champions Trophy and stood as winners and also runners in zonals.
