Pandavgad Falls - Kharghar

Description:
The Pandavgad Falls (also mispronounced as Pandavkada Falls) is a waterfall near Owe camp in Thane district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

Location:
Running almost parallel to the Mumbai-Pune Highway is a 1,200 feet (370 m) high mountain chain. Tucked away in the mountains in a deep gorge is the foaming white waterfall which tumbles down the edge of the mountain. Pandavgarh is next to Owe Camp 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from Taloja on the Thane-Pune Road. Despite its name, there is no fort here. It is 46 kilometres (29 mi) from Mumbai.

Whats Nearby?
A small waterfall called Nangrya is situated beside the main waterfall. A cave is situated halfway down the waterfall, which can be easily reached by a dusty path. Tradition recounts that the Pandavas had stayed in the cave during the time of their exile.
