Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt. Ltd. a subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries, Korea, widely recognized industry leader in manufacturing and providing technologically advanced Hydraulic Excavators and Material handling equipment is rewriting the story of Construction Equipment business in India.
Set up over a 50 acre land at Chakan near Pune in Maharashtra, the state of the art and highly advanced manufacturing facility with a zero-tolerance quality control system and an innovative engineering offers wide range of construction equipment to satisfy the demands of customers across India. The plant with a manufacturing capacity of over 4500 units per annum manufactures excavators ranging from 8T to 51T with about 15 variants in 7 Series and 9 Series category. These excavators are then marketed through a strong dealership network of 135 plus touch points mapping the entire country from North to South and East to West.
Hyundai has been expanding its business by setting up efficient sales, services and spare parts bases and creating a strong dealership network of 29 dealers with more than 135 plus contact points covering the entire India. Hyundai’s dealership network and customer base have been strategically managed at four regional offices located at four corners of the country. Till date, Hyundai has sold more than 12000 excavators and it takes up about 17% of Indian Market share
Today, more than 10,000 satisfied customers are using Hyundai excavators for various applications such as, Irrigation, Roads, Mining, Infrastructure, etc. making Hyundai a trust worthy brand in CE industry in India.

Today, Hyundai boasts of a wide product range from mini-excavator to 120T class excavator. The small tonnage excavators comprise of the R80-7, R110-7 and R140LC-9. The mid-range excavators comprise of R210-7, R215LC-7, R220LC-7 its variant MaGiQ, R220LC-9, R340LC-7 and R390LC-9. The bigger tonnage excavators comprise of R510LC-7 which is being manufactured in India facility , R800LC-9 & R1200 LC-9 are being imported from Korea against specific requirement of customers.
