YSM CVS Ranchi

YSM is a religious foundation drawing inspiration from the life and teachings of Sri Sri Paramhansa Yogananda. Bathed in the holy and spiritual aura of the Yogoda Satsanga Society of India founded by Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda , YSM was established in August 1967 at Chutia, Ranchi in the Ashram Campus. The College began with just 1000 students and 19 teachers and was housed in a small building at Ashram Campus itself only to write a new saga of success in the history of Ranchi Univ.,Ranchi. It is a govt. aided Minority institution, affiliated to RU, Ranchi and registered under 2F and 12B of UGC Acts. The Society is a charitable organization and it is marching ahead on its benevolent mission of spreading the message of universal religion based on a scientific technique of God realization. Committed to the weakest section of the society, it was shifted to the remote area of HEC campus on Itki Road nearby the sacred Lord Jagannatha temple at Dhurwa, Ranchi in the year 1977.
