Youth Tourism Wing - TDCP

Youth Tourism Wing of TDCP has initiated a tourism awareness program for students from grade 6 to university level. The purpose of the program is to empower students by providing information and knowledge about tourism sector and imparting appropriate and effective tourism education and training. This awareness program is considered an integral program to ensure that Pakistan possesses a cadre of creative, capable and qualified nationals who can contribute to a sustained and competitive tourist industry. The program receives the support of both the TDCP and the Department of Education.
The programs aims to sensitize and educate Youth to the important role tourism plays in the country as a whole and to demonstrate how Youth can become involved in the industry. The programme is divided into three components:
1. Awareness about tourism opportunities in Pakistan
2. Study Tours
3. Promoting tourism as a career
