Yes It's Me

Yes it’s me is an ambitious initiative by a group of young professionals to
spread awareness about the concept of ‘Human Equality.’ Our efforts are
focused on eliminating discrimination based on misconceptions and taboos and
aim for a united society in which everyone is equally accepted.
As part of the project Nilisha Wandile will set out on a motorcycle journey of
9500 km across India for a period of four months starting from January 2018.
During the course of journey, she will conduct events, workshops and
campaigns to increase responsiveness towards gender neutrality at multiple
locations with support from local NGO’s and gender activists.
The campaign will manifest sit down/educational videos, workshops and
awareness sessions on topics like Child Sexual Abuse, Taboo of menstruation,
Homosexuality/LGBTQA+/Sexual orientation, Marital rape and Mental health.
Our prime issues have common grounds which are embedded deep in the social
conscience which deforms the foundations of Human Equality. We aim to
achieve Human Equality by working for our primary motives which need to be
addressed at the earliest.


Our campaign objectives:
1. We aim to connect to people by organizing workshops at every stop and spread the message of Human Equality and educate the population on issues such as Child Sexual Abuse, Taboo of menstruation, LGBTQA/Sexual orientation, Marital rape and Mental health.
2. We also aim to throw some light on various misapprehensions which lead to violation of equality, and speak on Gender Equality and feminism.
3. Talk to people and make them aware of the small stereotypical misconceptions that they experience in their everyday life. We want to make them realize the long term effects of such philosophies and help them get over the stereotypical understanding of world.
4. Our aim is to reach maximum number of people either masses at workshop or viewers on internet. We want to reach out to as many people as possible who have been the victims of Child Sexual Abuse, Gender Based Discrimination, Inequality or fighting for their sexuality. We want to listen to them and give them a helping hand and an understanding heart.
5. We will also be collaborating with various experts and counsellors, working in specific areas which concern our mission. We look ahead to take various educational videos with the professionals such as doctors, psychiatrists, lawyers & counsellors, and provide counselling to the victims if needed.
6. We look ahead to work hard and contribute in creating a safe, sound and comfortable environment for everyone. We want to motivate everyone to share their stories and help them express their pain and concerns, talk about their abuse and liberate them from isolated or discriminated.
7. We aim to work for uniting the society and eliminating discrimination based on misconceptions and taboos and propose United Nations to introduce Human Equality as one of the Sustainable Development Goals in their 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
