Wesley Bagh Church - CSITA - Diocese Of Medak

Wesley Bagh Church, located in Wesley Bagh, stands as a witness of God's abundant grace and providence to his children. It is a suburban church attached to the CSI Wesley Church Ramkote Pastorate and belongs to Church Of South India Trust Association (CSITA), Chennai.It was constructed in the year 1936 by Late Reverend Eber Priestly, a white missionary. He dedicated it in the name of his mother, Late Mrs.Emma Priestly on 25th December, 1936. This church was built as a community place of worship for all the members who were accomodated in its premises by the Wesleyan Methodist mission, which later merged into the CSITA/CSI mission in 1956. Geographically,it is located in the Diocese of Medak , a sub-unit of the CSITA. It is one of the oldest, yet strongest church structures that exists in the CSI network of churches in Hyderabad.Regular Sunday Services are held from 7:00 p.m - 8:30 pm , every Sunday. Apart from Sunday services the Church also conducts celebrative services for Christmas, New Year and Harvest festivals, according to the CSI almanac.More than 250 people worship in this church annually. Its structure reminds us of the old world charm of anglican churches. The Holy Communion/Eucharist is served once a month on the second Sunday.
