Hello Guys, Before getting to know about my WeddWindow page. I would like to give a small intro about myself. I am Siva Naga Venkata Venu Kumar. I hope it's very lengthy name so people call me Siva, so guys you can go with that.


When I was 8 year's old, an incident took place where my Life turned which I haven't expected. "It's My Hero, My Dad's Death." To the extreme level, I am done with my education till 5th class, whereas my financial status doesn't allow me to move further…


There comes my dearest Friend Krishna, holded my hand and took me to a Bike Mechanic Shed where I worked for continuous 1 Year. Suddenly On 2001, again an incident turned my Life. My cousin brother was a photographer. He took me to a Wedding, such a big one where I enjoyed myself alot with the co-photographers.


I questioned myself that why shouldn't i learn photography and opt it as my Career??? With that Desire, I asked my brother to help me out. He told me that you have to work in a studio where you won't get any single "Penny" for your work. I said, chaloooo it's OK Bro.


I took him to my home and got approved permission from my "MOM." There Life Started. I came to know the real hurdles of Life. Everyday was a Learning for Me When My Journey started towards Photography, there were no Digital Camera's. Only the reel (film) are available.


My 1st camera was Nikon FM10. I was trying to hold the camera but My Guru (Jasti Sridhar Rao Vennela Studio) garu told me not to handle it and asked me to wipe it with a cloth and undust the computers. i was doing that task for one whole Year.


One fine day, My guru asked me to capture B&W Passport Photo and asked to print it. I captured and went to the darkroom to develop it, but unfortunately it went wrong. On that day i got beaten by my Guru and he made me to learn "How to Capture," How to Develop a Film".


So, to some extent i have been doing the same task for continuous 2 years. Next, i have moved one step ahead and My Guru asked me to go to a Birthday bash and should take only 8 photos event and in the same even i took 11 photos, and i have been back to studio. After two days, the Photos taken by me came from lab.


By seeing those photos, My guru taught me How to capture photos in perfect mode. After some travel with my Guru, i got a chance to attend a wedding event just to capture only 5 photos such as jeelakarra bellam, mangalya dharana, talambralu, and parents groups. Hope you all know, Nowadays we are capturing 2000 - 5000 - 7000 photos for a single wedding event. But initially, in those days, minimum capturing for a wedding was 5 photos and to the maximum as per their financial status.


But, i am very happy in doing wedding events by getting a kind of good impression from my Guru. After 1 year, Canon has launched Film Digital Camera, featuring just to load the reel, with manual focus. No need to set shutter speed or aperture, as the camera was semi - automatic.


Then, Video Digital Cameras came into existence. My Guru gave me a Video Camera, I was asked to capture whole wedding with no help and no support. I have no idea, how to shoot. But, traditionally, I know how the marriages will go on. I know only how to record and stop As well.


I tool Panasonic 65 with 4 cassettes where each one will record 90 minutes of Video. Finally, on that particular wedding total sum of 360 minutes (i.e 6 Hrs) video capturing was done and i got opportunity for an another wedding too where i met a photographer named Mr. VAMSI bro and trained me with some techniques. 2 Year's passed by capturing wedding event's, i got enough confidence by attending wedding events.


By the way, it is very mandate to memorize a lady guru Mrs. SRIVALLI garu. Without her, i am not to be called as a good video editor. I hope you might know, how she trained me to get expertise in the field of video editing. Forget to notice, that we have a digital camera "Nikon 70D."



Everywhere i go in the field of Photo and Video Making, I hustle myself to learn all the aspects in means of photography. I am very happy that people are recognizing me by calling as a Photographer, Videographer, Editor and Likewise rather than my Name.


Next move what i learned is "How to Edit photos?," "How to design albums," in my studio and off course in labs of Vijayawada City. There Mr. MALLIKARJUNA bro taught me with respect to photoalbums.


Finally, 8 years have passed in my field with so much desire.


My 1st Salary: ₹300 INR which i took after three years of my work in the same photo studio and My Last Salary: ₹1800 INR. Mr. Jasti Sridhar Rao, My Guru is a lot for me, I mean it. But due to my financial status, i asked my guru to pay ₹3000 INR or else i will put a paper on the table. But he refused to pay ₹3000 INR, so i served 3 months rather than leaving with immediate effect. I am done by serving three months and came out with self-confidence, Meanwhile I bought Panasonic 102B video camera which is worth of ₹ 1,30,000 INR with the help of my MOM. I don't have not even a single penny with me. I informed to My guru about my wish and seek help and support from him.



My Career: Journey of Solo Travelling


Here we should remember a quote: "A Friend in a Need is a Friend in a Deed".
I got my 1st Project of My friend @SAILESH REDDY's brother wedding which gave me much confidence not in terms of money but to my work whereas the project costs ₹80,000 INR. I am done with good output.
Oops, i forgot to tell that i don't have PC. So, i copied whole data in a system at my guru's studio. After 20 days, i went and terribly shocked as the whole data were missing. I asked my guru, he come up with a disappointment reply "Don't Know." My Mind was totally blank, and i sent the hard disk for data recovery. But it is of no use. Month's going on and on.



Finally, with too much disappointment, i approached my friend and told the whole story. I was literally shocked with his one word reply. i.e "Its ok Buddy, Just Leave it." That moment he told me, for just that reason don't wanna break our friendship. Tear's rolled in my eyes with his mode of reply.


But that day was the best lesson i havn't learn as of that day which changed my "Life." Few months later, i was noticed by my Vijayawada Photographer's that I own a video camera Panasonic 102B and asked me to capture couple of weddings and got attention in whole Vijayawada city.


Hence, Started going for outdoor wedding event in Visakhapatnam for PHANI TURLAPATI brother (My 2nd GURU) as a freelancer. On that day, i saw CANON 5D Mark II which changed my life to the utmost. I bought CANON 5D Mark II and did a project of one of my best buddy SANTOSH PATAN's friend YOGI's sister engagement in HYD.



At that moment, i was unaware of handling it with the mode of options. One of my colleague SATHYA GANGADHAR garu helped me alot, (i met him in Vizag event of Mr. PHANI TURLAPATI). I got habituated using CANON 5D Mark II easily and attended too many workshop's and i am doing well.



Wherever you go, you should always be in a position to market yourself with the available resources. So, i created a Facebook Page in 2009 and named it as Siva Photography. Later on, for a professional view and to grab attention of followers, i have changed it to "WeddWindow."
