Eco Resort, Wakro is situated in Lohit District, Arunachal Pradesh, India. The Resort lies in the in the heart of Wakro Town and is in the lap of petty mountain range that surrounds it from three directions i.e. North, East, South and in the west lies the Kamlang River. The nearest railway and airport is Tinsukia and Dibrugarh respectivey. The resort is well connected with road transport from Tinsukia and it is one of the best place for the weekend out goers.

We offer comfortable stay in the accommodations built by using locally available construction materials and cuisine of Indian and traditional vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.

1. Visit to organic tea garden, visit to local tribal village comprises of long houses of Mishmi Community, Visit to Holy Place “Parshuram Kund, visit to Lohit View Point and river bed picnic and traditional cultural display in the evening, (on Special request).

2. Visit to Kamphai Reserve Forest, Home to variety of Flora and fauna and visit to Namdapha Tiger Reserve.

3. Trekking to Glow Lake

Glow Lake of Wakro is a beautiful natural lake and a good picnic spot.The snowcapped mountains and rich flora around makes it a perfect scenic beauty. Trekking to the lake is great fun and very adventurous. The lake covers an area of about 8 sq. kms and is located at an elevation of about 5000 feet above sea level and has a circumference of about 5 km.

4. We also arrange visit to hilly places like Hayuliang, Walong (bath in natural Hot Water Spring), Kibithoo and Dong (Millennium Sun Rise Point).

5. We also arrange visit to Mayudia, Roing via Tezu.

6. Stay during the full moon night at Eco Resort Wakro is most exciting and pleasant one.

7. Bird watching in Kamlang Wild Life Sanctuary.

The sanctuary is in the South-Eastern part of Lohit District. It is one of the twelve protected areas in the state of Arunachal Pradesh.

The upper reaches of the park have Alpine vegetation, particularly on the Daphabhum peak which borders the Namdapha National Park. It is the home of variety of birds and wild animals.
