Voicuntrao Sinai Dempo Higher Secondary School of Commerce

The Higher Secondary came into existence during July 1975 as a Higher Secondary Unit of S. S. Dempo College of Commerce & Economics soon after implementation of 10+2+3 pattern of Education by the Government.This Higher Secondary Unit was under the College Principal till its separation as an independent Higher Secondary School of Commerce under a separate Principal w.e.f. June 1988 in academic year 1988-89. This Higher Secondary was later re-christened in the name of our Late founder Trustee Shri Voicuntao Dempo as Dempo Charities Trusts. Voicuntrao Sinai Dempo Higher Secondary School of Commerce at Miramar during academic year 2001-2002.

This Higher Secondary imparts education in Commerce stream for Std XI and Std XII towards Higher Secondary School Certificate examination and is affiliated to Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Alto Betim Goa. The fundamental objective of this Higher Secondary is to prepare the base of the commerce education in the minds of the students to achieve fundamental knowledge and prepare students for greater tasks and challenges in further education in Commerce and other related Post Higher Secondary Education and further prepare this students to face the challenges of this critical phase as youth of tomorrow.
