VBPSC is organizing an inter school competition "DAZZLE" for classes 6 till 12. Events have been classified in the 3 main categories as mentioned below-

Group 1 for classes 6-8,
Group 2 for classes 9-10 and
Group 3 for classes 11-12.

Group 1- Class 6-8
Name of Event
1- Ms Paint Competition
Maximum participation: 20 from each school
Instructions:
• Participants will be given 45 min. each
• Need to draw on the given topic
• Strictly using the Ms. Paint software.
• One computer one participant.
• Top 3 will be awarded.

2- SUDOKU
Instructions:
• 9*9 grid
• The competition will be held in 3 rounds.
• Time allotted
• 1st round: 15 minutes
• 2nd round: 10 minutes
• 3rd round: 5 minutes
• Qualifying criteria:
From first round 20 will be shortlisted based on the full completion of the Sudoku for the 2nd round.
Only 10 will proceed to the final round
Top 3 will be awarded.

3- CREATIVE WRITING
Instructions:
• Topics will be given on the spot.
• Time allotted: 30 minutes.
• Best three will be awarded.

4- I.Q-logy
Instructions:
• To be conducted in 3 rounds.
• In 1st round- 15 slides will be shown.
• In 2nd round 20 slides will be shown.
• In 3rd round 25 slides will be shown.
Rules:
• In each round participants memory power will be tested.
• Slides will be shown continuously.
• Questions will be asked related to the sequence of the slides, finding out missing slides.

GROUP 2- CLASS 9-10

1- Logo-making
Instructions:
• Create a logo for a product.
• Using Ms. Paint.
• Time allotted: 30 minutes.

2- Power Point Presentation. (Group & Individual Performance)
Instructions:
• Choose one from the multiple given topics.
• Prepare a standard presentation using Ms. Power Point Presentation.
• Participants needs to pour in their creativity

• Criterion for the evaluation-
Presentation made.
Content written
Explanation of the content.
Communication skills.
• Maximum time for one presentation: 10 minutes
• Individual as well as group participation allowed.
Note:- There cannot be more than 3 members in a group.

3- Photo Mania
Instructions:
Click photographs using digital cameras
Prepare an audio-visual presentation of the same of about 3 min.
Any 1 of the following can be selected for the purpose:-
o Child labor
o Poverty
o Happiness
o Conserve Environment
o Global Warming

4- Group Discussion
Instructions:
Topics will be given on the spot
The discussion will be of approximately 5 min.

NOTE: You need to carry the presentations in pen drive.

GROUP 3- CLASS 11-12

1- Biz Ecom/Tech Quiz
Instructions:
1st round will be qualifying round
MCQ’s will be given.
Top 10 teams will qualify for the 2nd round

2nd round: Buzzer round
Presentation will be shown.
Questions will be asked
+5 for every right answer
-5 for every wrong answer
Top scorers will proceed for the next round

3rd round will be puzzle solving (face and logo recognition)
+5 for every right answer
-5 for every wrong answer
Top three will be selected

2- Skits N Plays
Instructions:
No limits on number of participants
Maximum time allotted 10 mins.
Linguistic : English and Hindi (Any One)
Themes
o Ad-Mad (Promotion of a Brand)
o Any National Issue
o School Life

Criterion for Judging the participants
o Expressions
o Fluency & Clarity
o Messages
Note : Should have moral values.

3- Doodle for Google
Instructions:
• Design the logo for the Google.
• One theme can be selected from the following:
Independence day
Women’s day
National Health Day
Cartoon
Fictions
• Time allotted for designing is 45 minutes.
• Only Ms. Paint can be used for designing.

4- Collage making competition (Individual & Group)
Instructions:
• Participants should bring all the necessary articles.
• Only chart papers will be provided to them.
• One theme can be selected from the following:
Global Warming
Portrait of any famous personality



Final three winners will be judged from the last round in every event.
