Virsa, offers a unique opportunity to stay at the farmhouse. The Heritage Farm cherishes to revive the traditions of agrarian economy. Images of golden wheat fields, radiant mustard fields and lush green trees hum gently the prosperity of Punjab.

Approved by Govt. of Punjab, Department of Tourism vide certificate no. PHTPB/FT/2013/011, the farmhouse is a welcome retreat in the midst of Agricultural Farm spread over more than 25 acres. Skirting the forest reserve of Chatt Bir, which nestles the Royal Bengal Tiger besides as host of species of birds and animals rarely found elsewhere, the farm house offers a welcome relief from the concrete jungles of urban scape and humdrum of city life. The developers of the farm are based in this region since 1947 and are a repository of the rich history of Punjab. Bhupinder and his wife Aman are perfect blend of tradition with modernity. Born and brought up in the environ of Dera Bassi, Bhupinder carries forth the tradition of his father S. Diljit Singh, who had to migrate from Lahore after the partition of Punjab. His wife Aman, Professor of History in a local college is also a Trained Tourist Guide approved by the Govt. of Punjab.

We are prominent members of the community and have our roots in agriculture. Staying with the family is an unforgettable experience with fond memories to take back. As hosts, we reside on the property full time, and hence, our personalized attention is assured. All guests at Virsa Farm and welcomed and cared for by the family. We are fully involved and would gladly take you around the farm or the many places of interest or just sit and chat with you. You are also welcome to share in our interests- all this without compromising your privacy. The family takes a lot of interest in personalizing your stay, depending upon your interest. Expose the visitors to an enjoyable rural experience and initiate viable operation; providing a comfortable agri-centered lifestyle, utilizing practical resources and eco-friendly methods.Promote sustainable and equitable agriculture and rural prosperity.Sensitize the rural sector on ecological degradation and chemical toxicity and encourage them to adopt sustainable agricultural practices which entails organic farming, conservation, agriculture, agro forestry, integrated pest management, integrated nutrient management and protection of natural resources since a healthy ecosystem is vital for the survival of human kind.LOCATION
Located at village Bakarpur, Tanki wala in Tehsil Dera Bassi, Distt SAS Nagar. It is about 5 Km off Ambala Chandigarh Highway and a mere distance of 15 Km from Chandigarh Airport and 20 km From Chandigarh Railway Station.
