Unchagaon is a small village (approximately 180 km north to the capital delhi) in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Its geographical location is very crucial as it is located on the border of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand as well as it a meeting point of three different district(saharanpur, muzaffarnagar & haridwar) of both the states. History of unchagaon dates back to the centuries and it is said that it was first inhabited by the nomadic gujjar clan dappe, deevede and kalshayan from rajasthan. People of unchagaon are the follower of Hindu faith but hails to a diverse array of castes with a majority of Gujjars. Total voting population of village ranges from 1500 to 1800. Nearby cities are saharanpur(55km), muzaffaranagar(22km) and roorkee(29km) while nearby towns are Deoband(18km), Gurukul Narasan(7km) & Purqazi(3km), a very famous village Miragpur of gujjars is also in the close proximity (8km) of Unchagaon. Other nearby villages are khera jat, ransoora, rajupur, ramupur, jaheerpur, gopali etc.
