• Worked as Research Investigator in a project on “Problem of Governance in India: With Special Reference to Punjab” in the Year 1997-98, CSDS, New Delhi.
• Worked as Research Investigator in a project on “National Election 1998” Conducted by CSDS, Delhi in the year 1998.
• Participated in a research methodology workshop organized by Indian Council of Social Science Research in co-ordination with Adult Education, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
• Worked for Heal Society (NGO) Chandigarh as principal investigator during December 2007 to February 2008, a project on irregular migration towards Europe, particularly UK from Punjab and Haryana, sponsored by United Nations Organization on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

• Working for Indian National Congress (INC) Chopal legislative constituency since 1993 onwards.
• Actively worked for INC in Lok Sabha Elections in Chopal, Shimla Parliamentary constituency in the years, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2004, 2009, 2014.
• Actively worked for INC in Chopal legislative constituency in the years, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2007, 2012.
• Worked for Pawan Kumar Bansal (INC) in 2004, Parliamentary election in Chandigarh.
• Worked for Manish Tiwari (INC) Ludhiana Parliamentary constituency in 2009.
• Worked for Vikram Singh Bajwa (INC) Punjab Legislative election 2012, Sahnewal constituency (Ludhiana District).
• Worked for Dalvir Singh Godly INC Punjab Legislative, Dhuri Assembly seat, Election 2017.
• Worked for Khushbaz Singh Jatana, INC Punjab Legislative, Talwandi Sabo Assemble seat, Election 2017
• Worked as elected President of All Himachal Students’ Association (AHSA), Panjab University, Chandigarh in 1998-2000 and presently Chief Advisor of AHSA.
• Actively participated in a students’ democratic rights movement for restoration of students’ election in 1997 in Panjab University, Chandigarh after a long gap of 14 years.
• Actively participated in six month long protest for demanding Central University Status to Panjab University, Chandigarh, from March 2008 to August 2008.
• Chief Spokesman of Students’ Organization of Panjab University (SOPU) (2003-2008).
