Vidya Niketan Public School has a commitment to excellence and aims to be an excellent school. We provide quality educational opportunities for all of our students. Vidya Niketan Public School is a co-educational, which caters for 12 years olds on the one campus in Begusarai ,Bihar. It has both medium English & Hindi. 30% of the students traveling to school by bus from adjacent rural areas.


The school is situated on a 1.3 hectare site. The school campus is attractive and inviting with landscaped gardens, established trees, seating areas, a large sail covered area and expansive fields. The astro turf area is well used by students and the community and our buildings are well maintained and presented.


Climate
The climate is temperate, with a warm summer and moderate winter. The average temperature ranges between 28-35 C in summer and 19-25C in winter.

Student Population
The 2016 current school roll is 400 students.

Our committed staff is proud of the wide range of programmes we offer to cater for our students. Academic success is the most important goal for all students at our school. We have a range of programmes designed to meet this objective.

The curriculum at Vidya Niketan Public School is designed to help every student reach their individual potential and as a result we have several pathways for students to succeed. Programmes include Integrated Programmes, Learning Assistance, Enrichment and Maths Acceleration. The school is part of the Gifted and Talented programme too.
The school also offers a wide range of musical opportunities. These include a Music Suite; tuition in orchestral, instrumental, guitar and vocals. Regular performances are given by our bands.
Our excellent facilities include a Library, Art Block, Technology Block, four Information Technology suites and other facilities, which allow the school to be able to offer a wide range of subject choices.
