Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic College Udaipur

Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic (Estd.1956) is an integral part of well known educational society, Vidya Bhawan Society (estd. 1931). The Vidya Bhawan Society is a complex of 15 institutions working for social change through education. Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic is a multi-dimensional technical education wing of Vidya Bhawan Society. Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic strives to produce socially sensitive and technically competent diploma engineers. The Polytechnic also works with village community for technical skill improvement and livelihood enhancement of Rural Youth. Our vision is to develop and build technical manpower, which is not just highly skilled in specific field, but socially sensitive and enterprising citizen also. Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic was declared the best polytechnic institute of northern India by MHRD in the year 2003.

Started with the single faculty of civil and rural engineering, the Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic College continues in dynamic momentum and is now a premier technical institute of Rajasthan with the faculty of Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology with a total capacity of around 570 students. The institute is approved by A.I.C.T.E. and is affiliated to B.T.E.R. (Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, Jodhpur) providing three year diploma in engineering and one and half year post diploma course in Polymer Science & Rubber Technology.The institute is also awarded "Best Polytechnic" by N.I.T.T.T.R. Chandigarh.

Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic College has the campus spread over 5668.83 Square meters with instructional area of 3585 Square meter administrative area of 403.73 Square meter & amenities area of 1679. 78 Square meters.

The outreach of the college is entire Rajasthan with the intake of 249 students per year through centralized admission process of D.T.E., Govt. of Rajasthan. The institute has high speed VPN internet connection facility in almost all rooms and labs.
