Vel Tech, Avadi Chennai accredited by NAAC with A grade , an abode of high quality education. Vel Tech was founded in 1997 and nurtured to great heights under the visionary mentoring of Dr. R. Rangarajan, Founder President and Dr. Sakunthala , Chancellor. CDIO Worldwide initiative has selected Vel Tech as the FIRST MEMBER from India for its innovative engineering education framework. CDIO is an initiative of Global Educators such as MIT, Chalmers and others to reform Engineering Education to reach its destination as identified by industry and ABET,USA.
Vel Tech has set up Centers of Excellence / national facilities in collaboration with GTRE DRDO, ARAI, IBM, DASSAULT Systems and National Instruments for enabling industry-standard capacity building. To complement the process Vel Tech has more than 239 MoUs with Industries and Foreign Universities that offers students the valuable proximity to practice and enhances their employability.
