Udayan School

Udayan,is a school for Not-So-Fortunate kids in the rural areas of eastern Uttar Pradesh. The school and its management aims to cater to all kids in it's vicinity,irrespective of class,caste,religion and gender.
Udayan's faculty is going to be different from what we see in prevalent education centres. The teachers here will interact and let learning take place instead of dumping syllabus on them.
The kids would be given complete uniforms consisting of school dress, socks and shoes. Nutritious food along with milk and curds will be provided twice a day keeping in mind their age specific intake of vitamins,nutrients. Bags, and all stationary items will be given to the students. For physical exercise, sports equipment like bats,balls,nets etc would be made available.
Udayan plans on making kids learn diverse subjects through various audio visual means. So computers and LCD screens would be introduced very soon.

Udayan is an endeavour of a group of friends,who strive to do something for kids who have been forgotten by the system. Udayan aims to bring these kids to parity with their urban, more fortunate counterparts. Udayan aims to provide these kids with everything detailed above and more such things completely free of cost.

Udayan, when translated in Hindi means that time of the day when sun has just risen and everything is full of expectation, full of hope and possibilities.
So here is to all hopes and possibilities with UDAYAN.
