Who are we?

“Trend Vs Tradition” is a home-based startup (online store), aimed to deliver quality dress materials at lower price thus satisfying every customer's expectations. We are not market leaders or a leading brand, but we would want to reach to that position by consistent growth. We wanted to build a brand that could identify new Trends and our Tradition, which is one reason why we named our store as "Trend Vs Tradition".

All dress materials are sourced from various parts of the country and are handpicked after evaluating quality of the material and workmanship. We Specialize in Fancy Sarees, Trendy and Traditional Salwar Kameez suits, Kurties, Nighties and other Dress materials. You have wide range of options to choose from variety of fabrics from Chiffon, Georgette, Cotton, Jaquared Cotton, Silk Cotton, Chanderi Cotton, Satin Cotton, Mixed Cotton, Synthetic, Pure Silk etc.

Different types of garments are worn on different occasions and we have garments that suits every occasion. Starting from Party wear, Office wear, Casual wear, Wedding and Festival wear.


How about the pricing?

One of our aim is to provide garments at lower price. We have determined to work on a very low margin and we price our items accordingly. Once the price is decided we then go through a very strenuous process of comparing our cost with other e-commerce websites/ e-stores for similar/ same type of product. We see to that, our prices are always cheaper to the ones available in other sites/ e-stores. If you wish we can give you few examples of our pricing Vs other websites. Ours is at least 10-30% less on many cases.


Why to work on a low margin? What’s the point in doing this business?

As we said earlier, we are focusing only on long term goal of building our Brand. We would rather make a profit of Rs.100 from 100 people, than to make profit of Rs.100 with 10 people. We would request you to provide us one opportunity to prove ourselves and we are confident that you would continue to shop with us with more confidence after your first purchase.

We shall start the Shipping process immediately after the amount is credited. If for some reason the amount is not credited even after two days of blocking, then the product would be un blocked.


How about Shipping?

We offer Free shipping for purchases made over INR 500 with in Trichy City. For purchases less than INR 500/ Shipping address within Tamilnadu (except Trichy)/Other States, flat Shipping charges of 40/50/60 per item respectively will be applicable.

Within Trichy: 1-2 working days.
Within Tamilnadu: 2-3 Working days.
Other States: 2-5 Working days.

(Note: For few of the items, Delivery time might take 10 days and that is mentioned as a part of Product Description. Also Shipping charges may also vary depending on the weight of the material)


What is the Return Policy?

We check the products before shipping. We take proper care in packing the product, but if you receive the parcel in bad condition, we suggest you, not to accept the package and kindly call us. Items delivered cannot be taken back.
