Trekking in Himachal pradesh

Himachal Pradesh is one of the attractive areas of the Indian Himalayas. Popular for its hill temple architecture, breathtaking valleys, handicrafts and hospitable people, Himachal was founded in 1966 with the unification of a number of princely states, combining the magnificence of royalty, rugged natural beauty and up to date tourist infrastructure. The state covers a total area of 56,019 sq km, most of which is hilly and mountainous terrain

It’s positioned in the lap of Himalaya with an elevation of 500m to 6800m. Some of the lower regions are hot in summer and where as the higher parts at very cold during winter. Himachal has its border with Panjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Jamu & Kashmir states also with Tibet.

Himachal is the play ground for Adventure tour activities. In summer one can go for camping, trekking, Heli skiing, hang gliding, mountain climbing, rock climbing water sports, etc. fishing specially Trout and Mahaseer is also another tourist attraction.
