T.P.S. DAV Public School, Baharagora is a glittering bead in the rosary of the DAV Institutions run by DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi. It is the biggest and oldest working organisation in the field of education. The institution started functioning in the year 2005 and by 2011 the school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi upto Senior Sencondary Level. About 30 dedicated committed, experienced teachers are moulding the destiny of more than 850 students. The school has its own beautiful campus located on the National Highway 33. It can be said to be a boon to the education lover society in the fringes of the state of Jharkhand. Properly constructed & well furnished class rooms and Faculty Room highly speak of the facilities of modern amenities available in this seat of learning.School consists of Physics Lab, Biology Lab, Chemistry Lab, Computer Lab, Mathematics Lab, Library, Dance Room, Art and Craft Room, Room For Indoor Games, Medical Room, well equipped Conference room with multi-media projectors. Text based learning is supplemented with audio-video resources like wide teleconferences and Internet facility for the students and faculty. Regular orientation courses and seminars are organized from time to time for the professional enhancement of teachers.

Our school is a branch of that sprawling DAV tree which is rooted in ancient Indian tradition but which reaches out to the sky. Being a part of such an illustrious organisation we have a tremendous responsibility.
