Balasore is a city in the North of Orissa. It is located at the south eastern part of the India. The city is surrounded by West Bengal in the north,and the Bay of Bengal to the East.

Panchalingeswar is a famous holy and tourism place in Balasore. This Temple is 30kms away from Balsore. It is located on the Nilgiri Hills. It’s a place with charming atmosphere sacred by five Lingas called the Panchalingeswar having stream flowing over them is the magnetism of this place. To touch the Lingas you have to lie flat on the Rock. The best time to visit Panchalingeswar is Octomber to July.
