Toastmasters International - VIT Chapter

Toastmasters International (TMI) is the leading movement devoted to making effective oral communication a worldwide reality. Through its member clubs, it helps men and women learn the arts of speaking, listening, and thinking—vital skills that promote self-actualization, enhance leadership potential, foster human understanding, and contribute to the betterment of mankind.

TMI was founded by Ralph C Smedley on October 22, 1924, at the YMCA in Santana, United States. It was then incorporated under California law on December 19, 1932. Currently,it is home to over 4 million members spread across 113 countries. These members improve their speaking and leadership skills by attending one of the 13,000 clubs that make up our global network of meeting locations.


Toastmasters International - VIT Chapter was awarded the "BEST STUDENT CHAPTER 2013-14". It consists of 9 clubs which make up Areas B2 and B3.
