Tirur Gandhian Natural Hygiene Home

Tirur Gandian natural Hygiene Home is located on the bank of Tirur river, which is the birth place of the famous poet Thunchath Ezhuthachan.This was found in 1986 on Oct.2.It is the first Nature cure centre in Malappuram District. This was mainly concerned for human health. This Institute developed each and every year due to the good performance of the members.

After two year this institute grow all over inside the district as well as the outside consultancy and the health awareness classes were also taken on specific days. Seminar and teaching classes are conducted in various places and also books,short notes were published , other program of this institute are some cookery class with caption “food with out disease” and also they gave good recipes of natural food.After completing 12 year, they started a health magazine named ‘ Natural Hygiene’. It has been developed from an inland magazine to a complete magazine.Today it is available through all postoffices in Kerala. For 20 years this institute was situated in the centre of the crowded Tirur city. ,the next year a building in a beautiful place with all the facilities was inaugurated. Since 25 years has been completed “SILVER JUBILEE” was celebrated . As a part of that a documentary film “jeevathalam” was made. During early time it was naturopathy treatment which included steambath,spinal bath, mudbath,enema.Gradually this treatment converted to orthoapthy which has relaxation and exercise as main.This is not a treatment but a way of life.
