Timir Biswas

Timir started off his career as the frontman of the band Music Street in steel city Asansol. He gradually stepped into Tollywood by performing in Bengali TV channels ‘Sangeet Bangla’, ‘Tara MuZik’ etc. Very soon he found himself getting interviewed on Aamar 106.2 FM, S-FM 93.5, Big Fm, etc.

Timir has been majorly influenced by Vidushi Purnima Chowdhuri, Ayub Bachchu (LRB, Bangladesh), Nachiketa.

He has done playback for Bengali movies ‘033’, 'Dui Prithibi’, 'Satru', 'Ghente Ghaw', ‘Accident’, 'Pothghaat’, ’Bicycle Kick’, ‘Maachh Mishti & More’, ''Bojhena Se Bojhena', 'The Play', 'Ashchorjo Pradip' and others.

Timir performs live with a 5 piece band and renders his playback hits and his favourite covers. He also performs with band Fakira separately.
