The Vagabond B&B

Our rustic American homestead style home is different than anything else you will find here. We live simply but with many little luxuries that you will not find in a typical village home. You can enjoy our charming peaceful garden setting and still get a decent cappuccino!

Our two-story home has three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with a single bed. There is one large bathroom, a yoga room, and a large kitchen with living space. We have a water filter, solar geyser and backup electric geysers, washing machine and dryer, a reliable water supply and a wood stove for heating. There are shaded verandas and sitting areas, and an outdoor wood fired oven for bread, pizza or tandoor style cooking. The kitchen has gas burners and a gas oven, plenty of pots and pans for cooking and the basic cooking supplies. We have a horse, cat, two dogs and several chickens. They are all friendly!

Jen lives next door with her three children. We can help you get settled in and answer any questions you might have. We share some of the outdoor space for the kids to play.

We have staff for cooking, cleaning and gardening who are also super helpful and friendly!

Breakfast is included with your booking. We offer the basics: eggs & toast, fruit & curd, parantha & achaar, or porridge & honey, with chai or coffee. We can also arrange for lunch and dinner for an additional charge. Our cooks are well versed in north Indian dishes as well as some yummy western foods. We make fresh bread and hummus, pesto with basil from our garden (seasonal), pizza and lovely salads. Please let us know in advance your meal preferences so we can prepare. Of course you are always welcome to use the kitchen to cook for yourself!
