The S.D Vidya School

Guided by our school motto, ‘firm in faith and large at heart’ the SD Vidya Schools stand true to their core value of universality. Enshrined in the visionary and secular tenets of Sanatan Dharma: ‘being applicable to all people of all places and times’, I am happy that we have been able to provide the youth who pass through our portals a scaffold of values and beliefs that will prove to be a support to them as they traverse life.
Our institutions go back a long way but our youth are young! Keeping them connected to the past, while their minds and bodies are in the present and their dreams traipse in the tomorrow is a responsibility. Preparing them for future that will throw up several opportunities and challenges is a task. Teaching them now how to plan, collaborate, decision-make, be sensitive, caring and live in peace is a duty. The teachers then become key to the success of any educational endeavour. Without inspired teachers, you cannot have inspired children and that is why the Management of the school places huge emphasis on the professional development of its teaching faculty.
