The Legend

The Legend has 3 well furnished bedrooms with Antique furniture, a fully equipped kitchen, a massive drawing room and is a five minute walk from the Nagaon Beach. Mandwa jetty is an approx. 45 min drive from this bungalow.
Due to its proximity to Mumbai and Pune and the jetty service from south Mumbai Alibaug has become a popular weekend destination.
The Climate is tropical. Best time to visit is November thru March. Hottest months are April, May, September and October. Rainy season is June to August. Distance from the closest international airport is approximately 110 km, Mumbai. Closest railway station is Pen and approximately 30 km from Alibaug. Pune is 141km via Mumbai Pune expressway a 3hrs drive.
During the non-monsoon months September through May, it’s a short 20 minute (13.5 km) speed boat or 45 minute commercial ferry ride from the Gateway of India (Colaba, Mumbai). During the monsoon months June through August, the sea route is closed but travel by a road trip of approximately 100 km usually takes no longer than 3 Hrs.
‘The Legend’ located at Nagaon also known as ‘Mini Goa’ is located 7 kms from the Alibaug city. It is a popular destination for tourists mainly from Mumbai and Pune as tourist find it as a great alternative to Goa. Nagaon is an idyllic destination as it is a peaceful hamlet with a flat and safe beach for water sports. There are number of options for water sports like jet-skies, banana boat rides, motorboats and also parasailing.
