The Football Faktory

Indian Football had its heydays in the ‘50s and ‘60s when India was one amongst the Top 20 football playing countries in the world. India then won several International championships, including the Asian Games (1951, 1962) and stood Fourth at the Olympics (1956). But since, Football went into a tailspin. We now stand at 145 amongst the 207 football playing countries in the world.

What ails us is that though a few States promote football at various levels, none are equipped enough to take the game centre forward. The interest is high, with television audiences increasing as European Football is telecast. But what the country needs is to promote this team sport in the manner it deserves. And that can only be done through professional coaching to the talent that has remained subliminal.

And that’s where The Football Faktory comes in. The Football Faktory is a Soccer School designed to develop the personal and technical skills of the youth. We train our kids to realise and reach their full potential in sport.

We have an experienced team of fully qualified international coaches that aims to develop the grassroots levels of football in India. Our school offers coaching of the highest standards and at international levels. We hope to bring the standard of skills and technical ability to a level previously not achieved in the country.

The Football Faktory is headed by Mark Seagraves, a former professional footballer who played for Liverpool, Manchester City, Norwich City, Bolton Wanderers and Swindon Town. He has was also Coach in the English Premier League, with clubs as Derby County, Wigan Athletic and Blackpool.

Mark has led grassroots coaching for the past 12 months in India, and now takes it to the next level. He and the team of qualified personnel at The Football Faktory aim to bring a revolution in the field of Football in India.
