Tharbiyath Al Islam Vocational Higher Secondary School

History of the School

The school was started in 1976 as upper primary school. It was upgraded to the level of high school in 1983. Tharbiyath has started vocational Higher secondary section in 1995. Higher Secondary courses were started in 1998. There are 128 staff including faculty and non-teaching staff. The school has its unique position in Ernakulam District of Kerala state with student strength 3000 to its credit.Indian Union - kerala state - Ernakulam District- Muvattupuzha municipality

Founder - The vision of a visionary

Marhum T.M.Seethy Haji , a renowed business personality of Muvattupuzha had vowed to transform Tharbiyath Hills to a seat of learning. He had envisaged thousands of children breezing out of the institution. He had never remiss of the responsibilities his remit entailed. His incumbency as the Manager of the school was marked by comprehensive progressive in the academic and co-academic domains.

A group of 2200, dynamic uniformed pupils start their morning with prayer and they pledge their loyalty to their mother country. Study time begins at 9.00 am everyday. Special classes are arranged for class 10 th pupils after regular time. Special classes are also provided on every Saturday. The teachers are assigned for maintaining the discipline of students within the campus. The school gate remains closed until the departure time, except for noon recess. Class PTA's are organised every month to assess the progress of studies.
