Thanal Balasramam Mayannur

Nila Seva Samithi, Mayannur, a Charitable Society,established in 2001 under Registration No. 1331 granted by the Registrar of Societies, Thrissur, Kerala. The Samithi has three Orphanages working under it, viz., (i)Thanal Balashram, (ii) Thanal Sisumandiram (Foundling Home) and (iii) Sree Vilwadrinatha Sevasramam. These Ashrams have been set up with the basic objective of helping under-privileged children and children in distress and give them shelter, health-care, proper education and self-esteem in order that they may lead productive and independent lives and eventually merge with the main stream.The Samithi also has a Lower Primary School, known as Nila Vidyanikethan.
