Thalir is a unit of Vellimalaipattinam Farmers Producers Company Limited (VFPCL - to be registered). VFPCL is formed by group of farmers from Vellimalaipattinam village with the sole purpose of marketting their farm produce to consumers. This is our humble attempt to improve the relation between consumers and farmers. We invite your support for our initiative

Where is Vellimalaipattinam?
Vellimalaipattinam is the last village in the Coimbatore City - Thondamuthur road with a population of around 1000. The farmers in and around Vellimalaipattinam grow several vegetables which reach cnsumers thru several markets in coimbatore area. Surrounded by Westernghats on three sides, Vellimalaipattinam is a place to visit for a one day trip. Most of you may know the village from the frequent visits of Elephants (fondly called as Periavar in the village).

Who are we?
We are set of 20 farmers who have started the VFPCL and market our's and other farmers' produce in our area thru our brand Thalir, thereby fetching good price for both the consumers and the farmers behind the consumables.
