Sunrise Public School Ramgarh Nainital

Sunrise Public School was founded by “ MAA VESHNO EDUCATIONAL AND WELFARE SOCIETY” ,a Registered Society of Uttarakhand under the Societies Act in 1999 in Talla Ramgarh Pin 263127, Dist Nainital ,Uttarakhand.
Taresh Bisht and his wife Prema were the visionary pioneers to establish this first English Primary Public School in the beautiful Kuamoni valley of Ramgarh, 26 Kms from Nainital, on the Bhowali- Mukteshwar road . What guided them were two strong inner calls: the first one was for providing the less privileged local youth of this backward rural area with a new educational opportunity where they could discover the best of themselves in all the aspects of their personalities. The second call was to preserve the basic qualities of simplicity, honesty and resilience for which Kumaoni people are well know as the so called “modern city values” were starting to erode this basic noble qualities of their Indian hearts.
The School opened their doors with 8 children in a rented building of the town and since then its has been a growing experience for both of them ,admitting new kids, facilitating their education and forming a team of dedicated teachers to help them in this adventure. The School offers a comprehensive high quality English medium education from Nursery to Class 5
