St. Xavier's Institution (SXI)

St. Xavier’s Institution, founded on 1st July, 1967 by Late Pravash Chandra Banerjee, at Agarpara and presently situated at H. C. Dutta Road, Panihati, Dist. 24 Parganas (North) is a Co- Educational English Medium I.S.C. School up to class XII. The school admits children of all castes, creed and religion and imparts Integrated Education to them through the medium of English.

St. Xavier’s Institution is run and managed by Suburban Educational Society, a non-profit making organization registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act. 1961. The said Society consists of educationists and social workers. Its Executive committee is elected at its Annual General Meeting every year. Executive Committee forms the Managing Committee of the School, i.e. St. Xavier’s Institution by nomination. The Managing Committee of the school is guided by the Executive Committee and is answerable to the said Executive committee of the Society for all its affairs in respect of St. Xavier’s Institution.

St. Xavier’s Institution recognized by the Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal and affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi. It prepares children for I.C.S.E. & I.S.C. Examinations.
