St Joseph's Higher Secondary School, Thalassery is an educational institution in Thalassery, Kerala. It was started as an Anglo Indian school in the 16th century, run under the management of Latin Diocese of Kannur. It is located in the heart of Thalassery town, by the side of the Tellicherry Fort. The architecture of the school gives a view of the Arabian sea, even from the classrooms.HistoryAn Anglo Indian school was established as a part of the Holy Rosary Church which was established in the early years of 16th century. The Holy Rosary Church was under the Goa Arch bishop until 1609. It was one of the important Christian churches in Malabar. Later it became a part of the Kodungallur archdiocese.
