SSSS Modern School, Kshmir avenue amritsar

Modern High School, Amritsar is an offshoot of Sant Singh Sukha Singh Khalsa School Amritsar which has a legacy of 120 years. Modern High School has its beginning as an English Medium Nursery school in 1974 at the Mall Road Campus, which grew steadily to a high school and was affiliated with PSEB in 1992.

Academically it grew very fast and performed exceptionally well in the public examination with 100% results and top merit positions. In the year 2004 this school was in the headlines of all the Newspapers in Punjab when it broke all the previous 53 years records by winning 8 positions out the first 12 positions in the state when its students won 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th positions and had the honour to get recognition in the editorial of the Tribune dated 26th June 2004.

In 2009 the school switched over its affiliation to C.B.S.E and was upgraded to 10+2 in 2012. At present more than 2000 students are on its roll besides a team of well qualified experienced and dedicated teachers. The school is co-educational institution. It is ideally located in the city and spread over an area of 4 acres land. To provide a child congenial atmosphere the school possesses imposing campus with spacious and airy building, play grounds, lush green lawns surrounded with blooming flowers.

Our objective is to develop the qualities of truthfulness, kindness, tolerance and respect and to infuse these values daily prayer according to Gurmat are conducted.
