Chintanahalli is a village which is located 6 km from the Yadgir-Hyderabad (SH-16) main road. It is a place with natural beauty. The hills and lake add to its scenic beauty. The lake is located on the edge of the village is known as Govindaraju lake. Besides, there is temple of lord Venkataramana at the eastern hill of the village. There is a Eshwara temple on the top of the village. The rays of the sun first falls on ‘Gopuram’ of this temple and then touches the earth.The villagers hence believe that the sun god first offers his namaskara to Lord Eshwara and then comes to the earth.
