Sree Vivegam Travels

The origin of vivegam travels back to 1967 the year when Shri.V.Gurusamy founder of the vivegam group of companies Purchased his first truck. He was a very sincere Entrepreneur known for his hard work and service to his Customers, friends and local business people, in five years Time he has created a name for his transport activities by Making it a successful goods carrier giving services in the Combined Tuticorin, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari districts Having 50 offices in all important towns running more than 15 trucks and giving employment to around 100 people. He also handled cargo and logistic operations in the port which earned him a very good name and he could become the President of the lorry owner's association of Tuticorin in the year 1976 which he retained till his last supporting More than 300 lorry owners.

New generation:-
His eldest son shri.G.Vivekanandan on completion of his M.B.A., has taken charge of the vivegam activities in the Year 1986. He was dreaming to do some thing innovative in His own field and he set his mind in the bus service. His brother shri.G.Ramesh joined the business on completion Of his engineering, giving a valuable support.

Venture in to omni buses:-
Vivegam diversified into passenger transportation by purchasing two Omni buses running between Tuticorin to Chennai in the year 1990.

Then onwards the passenger travels division was growing into multifold and now the group is operating around 50 luxury Buses to various destinations like Udangudi, Tirucnenthur to Chennai and Coimbatore, Tuticorin to Chennai and Coimbatore, Kovilpatti, Sattur to Chennai and. Coimbatore, Sivakasi, Virudhunagar to Chennai and Coimbatore, Sankarankovil, Rajapalayam, Srivilliputhur' to, Chennai and Coimbatore. Dharapuram, karur to Chennai, Velayuthampalayam p.vellore, Namakkal, Rasipuram to Chennai. Pattukdttai, Mannargudi, Tanjore to Chennai and vice versa.
