The Shri Someshwar Nath Mahadev Mandir Nayash Samiti-Areraj was set up in 21 Aug 2006. The main objective of the trust is to provide for better management and governance of the holy Shiva's Mandir and its endowments including the appurtenant lands and buildings.


* The areraj Mandir, also known as Someshwar Shiva Mandir, which is situated on the banks of Telie River. Areraj Someshwar Shiva Mandir is one of the oldest temple in areraj, which is 28 km far from south-west of Motihari, in East Champaran District Bihar.
According to Shiv Puran and Skand Puran areraj Someshwar mandir has been the center of religious spiritualiasm.
