Construction industries is currently growing with latest technologies and now there is a huge demand for civil engineers for satisfying the demand of infrastructural development along with skills so our department aims to mould the students into excellent engineering professionals by exposing them to different aspects of Civil Engineering such as hydraulics, environmental engineering, structures, water resources engineering and soil engineering. Complementing these inputs are interdisciplinary subjects like computer programming, optimization techniques, numerical methods and remote sensing. Students will be prepared with knowledge and skills for global market. The course is well recognized for the high quality of teaching and research activities. We have started M.E. Civil with specialization in Structural Engineering from 2013-14. Facilities of department include laboratory for Concrete and material testing, Fluid mechanics, Geology, Geotechnical engineering, and Transportation engineering. Computer center is available with latest softwares. The department for training and placement of the students puts in special efforts. Students are also encouraged and provided guidance to appear for GATE and other competitive examinations like MPSC, IES, etc. Many students of S.E., T.E. and B.E has participated in national technical events organized by different colleges and won the prizes. Also departmental development is going on. I assure that all facilities with leading technology will be available under one roof.
