‘Importance of Chemicals in Construction Industry’ – I took my step in 2001, into this genre and found the ignorance of consumers, contractors, masons and to some extant Civil Engineers in this field. Hence, apart from trading of materials I started to share the concept of using of chemicals in construction. And I found some people who are interested to repair and refurbish their homes through professionals. Gradually I trained a group of laborers’ on whom I can rely upon in delivering the job.

In 2007’ I got a contact with a Mumbai based interior firm ‘Salasar’ at ‘Unitech’ Building at Rajarhat, West Bengal where the principal client was ‘Capgeminy’ – then hand in hand came the job at TCS also at that very campus.

2008’ – I got a prolific job at the Govt. Medical College at Kalyani – my native place. It was Roof waterproofing with some typical treatment.

So far my job was restricted to Roof waterproofing, Crack repairing, Damp and Saltpeter treatment and treatment at the expansion joints.

At 2010’, I stepped into infrastructure industry – waterproofing of the water retaining structure and got ample scopes of grouting – Cementitous, Epoxy and or PU Grouting. I got more exposed to strengthening of structures also.

Over a period of time I started working at the Water Treatment Plants and the Overhead reservoirs and within 2 years I got exposed to 3 WTPs’ and 60 OHRs’.

Repairing a water Inlet well at Bihar really satisfies me because it was at the heart of the Ganges and the depth of the well was 35 meters from the water level. Water pressure was immense and 1.5 meters concrete wall or 2 meters concrete base was not sufficient enough to withstand the pressure. Me and my team worked Day in and Day out and made the last laugh after vigorous 45 days.

Within these periods I have come in contact with many household customers – providing them 7 years’ warranty on Roof treatment. Water tank over the roof or basement waterproofing I had done in ‘Sankalpa’ – Gateway to New Town. I was proud enough to do waterproofing work at the prestigious Eden Garden under CAB and at their Kalyani unit also. L&T, NCC and PWD are some of the clients I have been proud to be associated with. Epoxy Flooring at Fresenius Kabi (previously Dabour) or at the Science College at Salt Lake is also worth mentioning.
