Shri Venkateshwara University is promoted by Shri Bankey Bihari Educational Trust (SBBET). It is controlled by a Board of Management, constituted by SBBET, which is headed by the Chancellor Shri Sudhir Giri, a great visionary, educationist, and nationalist, who translated his ideas and dreams of promoting higher education into reality by setting up institutes of higher learning in various subjects, carving a niche as an educationist and aiding inculcation of values in the young generation.
