Shri Ram Teerth, Amritsar

Shri Shri Ram Teerth, Amritsar is a birthplace of sons of Lord Rama, Lava and Kush. Where Sita mata stayed for several years and Maharishi Valmiki wrote Ramayana.

Lord Rama met his sons first time at another place of Amritsar, now known as Shri Durgiana Mandir. Infact the paternal grandparent's house of Lord Rama is in Amritsar too, near a village called Kasel.
