After I finished school, I realized that I wanted to starts small retail establishment that sold textiles. I don’t come from a weaving background, but this was something I wanted to do my family, my parents and my maternal grandmother, were extremely supportive and it is with their blessings that Shree Devi come into existence. This venture would have been nothing if it weren’t for the blessings from lord Subramanya of Pazhani. I must say that there are a lot of reasons for the success of Shree Devi.

My brother P Senthil kumar, who is also a part of Shree Devi, and I are sons of soil in a sense. We began this venture in the hope that we would make this a success.

With the blessings of the ones we love and of the divine, today we are a name to be reckoned with. My brother’s joining hands with me after finishing his education has be instrumental in the exponential growth of Shree Devi. We were able to expand and he is the brain behind this growth. Our customers are also a huge part of our growth and we never forget that. Every day, every piece of clothing that is sold, is sold at a value that the customers appreciates. Everyone who steps in, steps out with a smile. That one fact is the symbol of my success, and I could not have done it without the people who matter to me – my god, my family and my customers.
