It has many temples. Guddattu Vinayaka Temple , Sri Nandikeshwara temple kudure katte, Kudure Katte Brahmabaidarkala Garadi are famous temple in Shiriyara.

Guddattu Vinayaka is the only Jaladhivasa Ganapathi availeble in the country and is unique of its kind. The temple stands on the foot of a huge granitc rock, which itself looks like a sleeping elephant. The cave will always be kept filled with water which submerges the diti up to neck level. The black and grey stone structure of Lord Ganapathi is in sitting position. The History of Guddattu Sri Vinayaka temple runs back for about 1700 years.

Mekekattu Nadhikeshwara temple is a historical place. 'Mekkikattu'- place with many wooden Bhuta Icons, According to a legend jambukeshvara a sage was engaged in a strong penance at this place, installed 'nandi' (Having human body and the oxe head of a spirit or pantheon diety or bhuta) the vehicle of Lord Ishvara as the guardian spirit in order to protect himself from disturbances of evil power. Some of the statues look like Muslim soldiers while others look like Maratha soldiers. Some of them even held a replica of an old gun or swords, posed as if ready for war.

Brahmabaidarkala Garadi (ಕೋಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಚೆನ್ನಯ್ಯ)- Nagabrahma, Koti Chennaya and Shivaraya are the main Gods worshipped in Garadi. Koti and his brother Chennaya are the historic heroic of Tulund who became spirit after their heroic and tragic death. They are worshipped as cultural heroes and champions of the down-trodden.
