Sher-e-Punjab is the oldest Punjabi restaurant in Panjim, and is the branch of the family that initially opened Sher-e-Punjab in Bombay in the early 1930’s. It is located on the 18th June Road, traditionally Panjim’s shopping area popular among tourists and locals.This “Goan” Sikh owned 200 plus seater restaurant has been serving guests since 1969 and has grown into what it is now only through the grace of its clientele. The restaurant serves authentic Punjabi cuisine and local seafood as well as Goan and Indo-Chinese dishes.Aside from this they also serve sandwiches, samosas and freshly brewed coffees and are known for their Gulab Jamuns,Rabdi,Kulfi and other desserts. The bar is well stocked with Indian and International spirits, wines and brews. The restaurant has A/C and non A/c sections as well as a comfortable outdoor garden seating. The guests happiness is all that is aimed for at this restaurant, right from the time it opens at 11 A.M till the end of the day at 12 A.M.
