Shanti Niketan Vidyapeeth has multi-campus with modern infrastructural labs with all facilities for boys and girls, a well equipped library. Our aim is to make it a college of excellence and to improve the quality of technical education for the student’s community. Appreciating the need for economic independence and the pivotal role men play in raising the standard of living of a vast division of our society,

Shanti Niketan Vidyapeeth is providing career-oriented education to the students so as to equip them with requisite, qualification and training. This will enable them either to take up a gainful employment or start their own enterprise and become self-sufficient. The institute is located just 10 kms from the city. It has adequate infrastructure to cater to the needs of courses being offered including a full-fledged library and computer lab. The Institute is presently running various engineering degree and diploma programs and hobby course of varied duration. The courses have accreditation / recognition from the Govt, of India. efforts are afoot to obtain recognition / accreditation of some more courses. The achievements so near have been possible due to an inspiring and able leadership of our management Committee, comprising of highly educated successful professionals and entrepreneurs.

INTRODUCTION :

Shanti Niketan Shiksha Samiti Hisar is registered since 1977 under Firms & Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 by the Registrar of Firms & Society Haryana vide Registration No. 85. of 1977.
The aims and objects of the Samiti are to educate and bring field of life specially in the field of education. The Samiti under these aims and objects is running educational Institution under the name Shanti Niketan Sr. Sec. School, Hisar from Nursery to Sr. Sec. Classes since 1977. This school is permanently recognized by Haryana Government. It is one of the prestigious school of Hisar and has earned a very good name because of its glorious results every year. This school is an accredited Institution of NIOS, New Delhi (Ministry of Human Resources and Development).
The Samiti is running Shanti Niketan College, Hisar affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and is offering BCA, B.A. (Arts), B.Com both for girls and boys.
The Samiti is also running Shanti Niketan college of Management & Technology, Hisar under Distance Education, a study centre of G.J.U. Hisar for its various courses of Computer Science & Information Technology such MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, PGDCA etc. in a separate independent campus at Hisar.
Apart from this samiti is running the following regular colleges affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and Technical Education Haryana at its lush green shrawling campus located at 12th K.M. Stone Tosham Road, V.P.O. Ladwa, Hisar.

All the above mentioned Colleges will be run by the Samiti in separate independent building at Ladwa, Hisar fro the session 2007-2008.

Shanti Niketan Vidyapeeth is totally alive to the needs and aspirations of the student community and keeps itself abreast of the changes taking place on the industrial front of the country.

AFFILIATION :

The college is afilated to the prestigious Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra for B.A (Bachelor of Arts), B.Com. (Bachelor of Commerce) and B.C.A. (Bachelor of Computer Application) vide no CBR/2006/7290 dated 27/06/2006, CBS/2001/17728 dated 03/08/2001.

Shanti Niketan Vidyapeeth has trained, competent and highly dedicated faculty to impart theoretical as well as practical training to the students, Regular involvement of the expert outside faculty from reputed institutions and organizations help in improving the quality and gives wider exposure to the students. Extra curricular activities help the students in improving their horizon and vision.

The Shanti Niketan Shiksha Samitis lush green shrawling comnplex is situated at Hisar Tosham Road at 12th K.M. milestone Ladwa Village. There is bus service on Hisar-Tosham Road with stoppage at Samitis campus Auto/Jeeps are available for Shamiti Campus from Dabra Chowk, Hisar. Hisar a rapidly growing town situated at 175 KM from Delhi on Delhi Sirsa Fazilka Highway (NH-10) and at a distance of 230 KM from Chandigarh on NH-65. It is well connected by rail & road. It is a major centre of higher education & research with two Universities CCS Haryana Agricultural University and Guru Jambhershwar University of Science & Technology. Research institutions, Breeding Farms and Degree Colleges.
