Great achievements have been made in promoting literacy and education among Muslims during the last few decades. The community now boosts of thousands of graduates and professionals. Muslims now can be found in all positions & professions.
In spite of this there is a large segment of the Muslims still back ward and underdeveloped. The prime reason for this is the cost of good and quality education. Only very few among the community have access to schools & colleges that impart excellence, impart proficiency in languages and hone and shape the young people into refined individual equipped with vision and progressive outlook.
Unable to afford educations most of the Muslims suffers from a very high drop out of students, some times at such early stages of schools that they revert to illiteracy. This leads to a serious deficiency of Muslim representation in higher education and there by in professions that provide the solid foundation to the community.
