Shagun Films Enterprises started its flexible packaging films business in the year 1999. From a small scale trading firm , the company has diversified into a variety of different products of BOPP and PET films. Our innovation timeline spans over two decades, encapsulating the many important milestones that mark our industry’s rapid progress.

The remarkably fast-paced story of innovation and success began in 1990 when Mr Yashpal Chugh, entered the business of printing. It continues into the current century which has seen astonishing advances in product diversity and distribution methods – many spearheaded by Shagun Films.

::Shagun’s timeline::

Shagun consolidates its presence by investing in new strategic merges:
• 2001 started offering a range of bi-axially oriented polypropylene packaging films commonly used in the print lamination industry.

• 2002 set up two state of art Slitting machines and started buying Jumbo Rolls from the leading manufactrers and started the concept of slitted rolls instead of company pack rolls.

• 2003 Set up a Unit in ramdarbar,Chandigarh to grab the potential market of areas of Punjab.

• 2005 creation of a sales and distribution Office in Haridwar,Uttarakhand;

• 2006 entered the market of flexible packaging films etc;

• 2008 Opening up a manufacturing unit in Bawana , New dehi.

• 2008 added three more slitting machines including the largest width machine i.e; 2650mm , totalling it up to five.;

• 2010 entered the paper plate material market of mettalized films of all types and sizes;

• 2013 setup a unit of paper plate rolls manufacturing in Pooth khurd , New delhi.
